Council Meetings
Council meetings are public and are held in the Council Chambers on the third Tuesday of each month at 6pm. Meetings may be canceled or moved to later dates if quorum cannot be met.
The Council Clerk accepts additions to the agendas up to noon on the Friday before each meeting. Requests to be added to an agenda received after this deadline will be put on the next meeting's agenda.
If you would like to appear before council to raise a concern or ask a question you may show up to a regular meeting and be called upon in the Delegation section of the agenda.

To be added to a RCM Agenda

Requesting a Donation
Each fiscal year the Hamlet Council allocates a specific amount of funding to supporting community events.
Community groups or organizations that show financial need and would like to request a donation are encouraged to apply by following the guidelines below:
1. All requests should be in writing in the form of a letter addressed to the Hamlet Council. Letters can be submitted the following ways: fax 867-952-2725, email sao@fortmcpherson.ca or councilclerk@fortmcpherson.ca, or hand deliver to the office.
2. Submit your letter well before your event date as the request must go to council at the next council meeting.
3. Requests received by noon on Friday will be added to the agenda of the next Regular Council meeting.
4. Priority will be given to events/projects/activities involving youth and elders.
